天堂只是神話

在英國《衛報》讀到霍金的訪談，談到了死亡，他說：

「I have lived with the prospect of an early death for the last 49 years. I'm not afraid of death, but I'm in no hurry to die. I have so much I want to do first. I regard the brain as a computer which will stop working when its components fail. There is no heaven or afterlife for broken down computers; that is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark.」

這世界沒有天堂，早在霍金之前，飽受爭議的Richard Dawkins也說了。紀伯倫書寫《先知》這本書時，裏面有一章論及宗教，他說：“And if you would know God be not therefore a solver of riddles"(假如你要認識上帝，就不要做一個解謎的人)

人需要信仰來解釋和證明存在，衛報的記者問飽受身體病痛折磨的霍金，如果說沒有天堂，我們的存在要如何解釋？我們現在就存在了，我們該怎樣？

霍金說：“We should seek the greatest value of our action.”

活在當下，這是狼的信仰，我的唯一信仰，是所有明白虛無的人所極力追求的信仰。
